WELCOME TO EXE ESTUARY FEDERATION
(Previously Connect Federation)

Over the last 6 years, the leaders of Clyst Heath Nursery and Community Primary School and Countess Wear Community School have worked together in partnership to develop all aspects of leadership and learning. In 2018, the governors agreed to move to a Management Partnership arrangement in order to test out the capacity for future collaboration.

The success of this meant that Governors then consulted with parents, staff and children regarding the move to a more formal partnership. This saw the emergence of 'Connect Federation' in July 2019.

From January 2021, Connect Federation was in a management partnership with Marpool Primary School, Exmouth and our Executive Headteacher is Rachel Pattison.

From the 27th April 2022, our consultation has concluded and we are delighted to announce that all three schools will be forming a new Federation from the 6th June 2022, called Exe Estuary.

There will be updates to the website in the coming weeks to reflect the changes.

Clyst Heath Nursery Community Primary School is part of Exe Estuary Federation with Countess Wear Community School Exeter and Marpool Primary School Exmouth. This new appointment would be based in Clyst Heath initially but there could be opportunity to join one of our partner schools in the future!
